  Charles Court Opera

the three musketeers

By John Savournin and David Eaton
First performed December 2012 at The Rosemary Branch Theatre, Islington
"...the annual madhouse staged by Charles Court Opera at the fabulous Rosemary Branch Theatre... I went last year to CCO's Beowulf at the same venue and laughed myself silly through a brilliant sequence of operatic/west end/pop song parodies that added bite and lustre to the standard formulas of slapstick jokes.  Charles Court Opera do also stage pukker operatic productions, which I've seen and liked. But these annual pantos are the best of them, with a cult following that's meant The Musketeers is sold out until the end of the run – so if you're not already booked, you've missed the chance this time around. But make a note for next year. Guaranteed to lift the January blues."   THE TELEGRAPH
