Like all Arts organisations, we have had to cancel or adapt our current and future plans for 2020, including our London run of Iolanthe. Our future, like so many others, is now very precarious.
This has a knock-on effect on CCO's ability to keep running as we don't receive a penny from cancelled performances, either in London or on tour. Furthermore, CCO's freelance artists and production teams are significantly impacted by these cancellations, both financially and emotionally. We feel it is our duty to support our freelance practitioners as much as we can, and we continue to compensate them for these losses thanks to so many supporters' generous donations, while attempting to secure our future as a company.
To this end, we would welcome with open arms anything that you can afford to spare, if you are unaffected yourself, and if you’d like to help CCO and those it employs, personally.
If you feel able to offer your support through the options below, we would be extremely grateful.
So far our supporters have given over £9000* to our fund, through donations and visits to our shop, and we're delighted to welcome a number of new Friends.
But we're hoping to raise a further £10,000 if at all possible..
*updated regularly
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our donors and supporters, and extend our deepest gratitude to our fantastic performers, production teams and creatives, of whom we are extremely proud.
With best wishes, love and hope, from all of us at CCO.
